Honestly the biggest bottle neck in the game isn't experience, it's just the lack of money you get from some areas. Then for Everglades I like to get a high range pole for bass, they go for the 1oz bass jigs like crazy. I like to use one with low range so I can cast 1/4 oz lures out for trout and walleye. What I was talking earlier about is different from the strength of the line but line weight for the pole which is the weight range of optimal lures. So if my rod and reel can handle 13 pound test I will rock that, just put drag at 3/4 and you should be fine. The biggest fish you'll pull her with be between 4 to 5 pounds uniques.įor me personally I use balance setups where nothing is better than the other so the wear and tear is even. The trout there are good money, golden Colorado trout have a 100 per pound ratio. Would recommend the 1/4 oz barbless narrow spoon for there, 2 missions require barbless tackle. With your setups the fish will be fun and hard fights but still manageable. I would recommend doing rocky lake for a bit, if you have it unlocked the artificial eggs go like crazy top and bottom. Keep net wise I would recommend the 55 pound one(I think it's a jail) before emerald so when you fill it with walleyes you'll make around 5500 per day. Upgrade wise I'd recommend focusing spinning rod first, watch line weight it's really easy to buy one that will be too big for your lures and you'll start casting short. Falcon is good for trout but it cost a pretty penny to go there and is in the same boat like Everglades where it'll take days to recoup. If you want slower money but fun fights go for trout in rocky lake. If you want to go map to map doing missions you can but you'll be hit with some fish that are rough to catch early level, best example would be the flathead in North Carolina or tarpon in Florida.

I'll tell you with a keep net under 100 pound total it will require days of fishing just to recoup money of going. A lot of guides and people will tell you to rush Everglades.

Best early farm spot with a smaller keep net/ stringer would be emerald, primarily going for walleye.
